- Having served three terms on Council, as well as on numerous committees and boards, I know firsthand that effective collaboration is essential to getting things done. I have a proven track record of working constructively with others, bringing people together and delivering results.
Value different perspectives: Councillors should bring diverse opinions, experience and perspectives to the table.
Respectful debate: Healthy disagreement strengthens decision-making when it is grounded in mutual respect.
Work beyond personal agendas: We must set aside personal biases and individual agendas and focus on what is best for the Township as a whole.
Build consensus and get results: Effective Council requires a willingness to listen, collaborate and turn good ideas into action.
Good governance is not about everyone agreeing. It is about working respectfully through our differences to achieve the best possible outcomes for our community..
