Municipal Infastructure
Keeping Ahead of the Game

- Municipal Infrastructure Cavan Monaghan maintains extensive infrastructure, including approximately 240 km of roads, many bridges, water and wastewater systems, and community facilities.
Winter conditions, increased traffic and aging infrastructure accelerate maintenance and rehabilitation needs.
Continued growth places additional pressure on existing infrastructure, requiring ongoing upgrades and expansion.
Funding asset reserves ensures the Township is prepared for major repairs and replacements, reduces reliance on debt, and helps avoid higher costs from deferred maintenance.
This ensures that assets can be maintained in a prompt and cost-effective manner without placing added expenses on tax base.
