Growth rate determined by the community

I believe we have set a responsible framework for growth management. I will be diligent about maintaining our balanced approach and constantly reviewing what lessons have been learnt.

Cavan Monaghan has been, and will continue to be, under considerable growth pressures. Managing this growth is crucial to the future of our community. Growth can come with new opportunities, prosperity, and diversity. But growth can also bring with it stresses on existing systems, schools, recreation, infrastructure, culture and the environment, just to list a few. Together as a community we need to ensure we are not overwhelmed by the challenges that growth can bring, and understand how to make it work for us.
